This brace offers a high level of protection to your thumb and wrist from accidental knocks and bumps. This is achieved by the combination of the tough outer fabric, two removable metal splints, and two fixed plastic splints.

When the brace has been fastened into place the two, flexible, plastic splints are located on top of your wrist either side of the closure. The large, wide metal splint travels down from the palm of the hand and across the wrist. The second splint runs down the side of the thumb. This has been economically designed to keep your thumb in a neutral position to aid healing.
